When we or I was a babe in Christ it would seem all my prayers were answered. It was like my loving Father was holding my hand through every situation and circumstance that I was going through. He was teaching me His will. As I began to grow by reading His word, going to church and hearing His word, fellowshipping with His children and meditating on His word in prayer I began to know parts of His will, e.g.(1 Thessalonians 4:3, 5:18; Hebrews 10:36; 2 Timothy 1:1; 1 Peter 4:2, 19). Then it seemed my prayers were not being answered all the time. Sometimes I felt that God just did not care anymore. I was not feeling His presence while praying, it was if I was out of touch with Him or maybe the whole prayer thing was just coincidences; but I continued on by saying I have to many Spiritual markers of answered pray to just be coincidences. I began to learn when we delight in God’s truth we are becoming one with God and His will. Therefore He no longer needed to answer the prayers when I already knew God’s will in a situation. Lord should I get a divorce? God’s word says that He hates divorce Malachi 2:16. Therefore I need not ask for I know His will.

When we line up with His will were are walking with God and we may not always feel that His presence is with us or we may have occasional feelings of His presence in our prayer life. We are becoming one with God and maturing in our Christian walk. Our new lifestyle becomes a life of freedom, liberty and delightfulness in Christ and His finished work. We know we cannot do anything good without Him, (John15:5; Isaiah 64:6). Just cease to function except through Him, yield to the Holy Spirit as the life flowing sap of the vine which reaches the branches and flows to the tips to produce new life, new leaves, flowers and eventual fruit.

I am determined to no longer live my life to the will of mankind but to the will of God, Who has given me new life, new liberty and a delightful spirit to follow after His will. Let us continue seeking His will and to become one with Christ as He is one with the Father.

That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (1 Peter 4:2, 19 KJV).
