When you are walking down town, through a store or mall, or at an event where there are lots of people, what do you see? Just women and men shopping, going to lunch or who cares? Or maybe you just don’t think about it at all. How do you think GOD sees them? I think He sees them as either eternal souls who will spend eternity with Him, or walking dead men heading for eternal separation and it grieves Him. Walking dead men with an eternal soul. We all have an eternal soul, where are you leading yours? Let us not forget we were enemies of God. But God has made a way.

                             if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,                                                                 much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also                                              joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.                     {atonement: or, reconciliation}

Thank God He has a plan of salvation for His eternal creation. But what about those who reject this His salvation?

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Can you see the masses of eternal souls walking into eternal damnation? Death reigned! It still reigns today. Someone needs to wake up these walking dead men. Will you do it?

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead,

“For the wages of sin is death,” BUT GOD! The second part of Romans 6:23 says, “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our LORD.” It is only through God’s gift. Gift here is not a birthday gift. The Greek word here for gift means “an undeserved gift from God to man” is eternal life. This is more than good news it is:

much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) {by one man’s…: or, by one offence}

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

 {by the offence…: or, by one offence} {by the righteousness…: or, by one righteousness} For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:1-21 KJV)

We can see here a divison. By one man’s sin, offence, disobedience abounded unto condemnation and death.

But by One, Jesus, the free gift, abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, obedience, and unto justification of life.

Now I ask you for future reference, when you are walking down town, through a store or mall, or at an event where there are lots of people, what do you see?

Will you see eternal souls heading for heaven or    hell?

Lord God place in me the will to tell others, the Kingdom of God is at hand. Do you know …where you will go when you die?

In Christ,

Greg
