Life or life insurance?
Are you walking in the Victorious Life with Jesus or did you receive Him as a life insurance policy?
Did you accept Jesus as your personal Savior and then walk right back into the world just to live like you never received Him in the first place? This is the idea of, I do not want to go to hell, I need life insurance. You may even think that the policy reads, Accept Jesus as your Savior and receive eternal life in case you die from accidental death, inclement or hazardous weather, car, boating, aircraft accidents, terrorist attacks or any reason you may die. Oh no, when that day comes you may say, “Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ “then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ “But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ (Luke 13:25-27 NKJV)
Our spiritual experience should be a perpetual growth process where you walk with Jesus and become more like Christ. The more you learn about God’s word, the more you will want to align yourself with God’s word because you will find the blessings in His word. This is a Victorious lifestyle.
So how are you living? Are you living with what you might think is a life insurance policy, or, are you living in a Victorious lifestyle receiving the blessings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? If you said the latter, then you are living in the insurance of life eternal now and forever.
