How Blessed are you?
And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, [Jesus] “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!” But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11:27-28 NKJV).
Can you imagine how blessed it would be to have Jesus to raise as your child? What about being the mother who brought Him into the world and nourished Him? One lady exclaimed, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!” But Jesus says there is a greater blessing. The blessing of those who hear and keep the Word of God. How are you hearing and keeping God’s word? Are you missing out on your blessings?
