Pithy and Profound
When we go through spiritual warfare we need to have endurance to push through the trails of life. Luke 21:19 says, “By your endurance you will gain your lives.” (ESV) We need to stay focused on our eternal soul and not the temporal trials which can hinder our walk in life. Jesus has given us the tools to overcome the world (John 16:33), and to mold our eternal soul into His likeness. Let us grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour to overcome adversity and construct our souls. If we do not live this way, we can fall into the snares of the devil and our soul will be seeking fleshly pleasures instead of spiritual blessings. We need to endure the snares of the devil and overcome them with God’s truths to be overcomers and gain our spiritual blessings in this life and the eternal life to come.
