Abiding Character
The abiding characteristic of a spiritual man or woman, is the interpretation of the Lord Jesus Christ to him or herself, and the interpretation to others of the purposes of God. Paraphrased from “My utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers” Think about it… What is your interpretation of the Lord Jesus Christ and what are you relaying to others as God’s purposes in this life and eternity?
Here is just one example:
2Corinthians 5:20 & 21, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (KJV)
As an ambassador are the characteristics of Christ Jesus abiding in you and are others seeing or interpreting the purpose of God through your words and actions?
