God Consciousness 2

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) {through God: or, to God} Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; {imaginations: or, reasonings} And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV).

Having a mind that is God conscious is also being mindful of your thoughts. We are in a spiritual battle and need to place every thought on the altar of sacrifice and see if it is worthy to enter our mind and share space in our heart with the Holy Spirit. What do you not know that you are the temple of God? We are supposed to guard our temple from the world and its desires that we may be holy as God is holy.

Here is a picture for you and wrong thoughts. As I look at the above verse, I see that we have weapons of warfare that are mighty through God to pull down strong holds and the ability to cast down imaginations or reasonings, as well as taking every thought into the obedience of Christ. So when a thought comes into your mind and it is not a faith-based, positive thought put it in handcuffs and bring it to the obedience of Christ. Say “Lord, this thought does not line up with Your word and I am bringing before You to cast it out of Your temple.”  In doing this you are having a readiness to revenge all disobedience and fulfill the obedience of God’s will.

The only way you can do this is to be mindful of your thoughts as the enter in and being God conscious so you can discern which thoughts line up with His word. Let God’s word judge your thoughts and imaginations so you can be an ambassador for God and walk in a victorious lifestyle. Place on the mind of your forehead and heart the signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. (Exodus 28:36 KJV)

In Christ,
